We are looking forward to celebrating Harvest with the children on Thursday 5th October.
Traditionally children bring in food which we then donate to charities close to our heart:
  • The night shelter at St. Paul the Apostle Church
  • The drop in centre for the homeless at the Baptist Church in Muswell Hill
  • St. Ignatius Church’s charity for the homeless
As in previous years we ask that children in different year groups bring in particular foods so that we don’t receive an overabundance of any one food type. This year we are requesting that the children bring in the foods listed below.
Nursery: Tins of soup e.g. tomato / vegetable / chicken
Reception: Tins of vegetables e.g. peas / carrots / baked beans
Year 1: Sugar / coffee
Year 2: Tinned fruit e.g. peaches / pears or tinned rice pudding
Year 3: Jam / marmalade
Year 4: Breakfast cereal / porridge
Year 5: Drinking chocolate / Ovaltine
Year 6: Tea
