Achieved Outcomes

1.  Enhancing the Curriculum

To subsidise the cost of School trips, extra-curricular activities and breakfast club.


To enable the pupils to have full access to a range of School activities and to develop independence.

All Pupil Premium Grant pupils participated in class visits and extra-curricular activities showing growth in confidence and self-esteem.

2.  Teaching and Learning

Additional Teaching Assistant support for individual and small group support in Key Stages One and Two.



To increase the rate of progress for Pupil Premium Grant pupils.

The rate of progress across the School for Pupil Premium Grant pupils was in line with non-Pupil Premium Grant pupils.

3.  Teaching and Learning

Continuing professional development for Teaching Assistants in:

·         Maximising pupil progress

·         Supporting children with phonics / mathematics and social skills difficulties.


To improve quality of first teaching in reading / phonics / writing / mathematics.

Pupil Premium Grant pupils made good progress due to the high quality interventions from skilled staff.

4.  Learning Resources

To provide learning resources for individualised learning programmes.



To provide additional learning resources which will meet the needs of individual pupils.

Pupil Premium Grant pupils made good or better progress by June 2015.
